The Harmon Cove Towers are landmarks visible all over the Meadowlands, and were part of the first major shoreline development negotiated by the Hackensack Meadowlands Commission in the 1970s. Next to the towers, the rest of the rambling condo development on the river is hard to see from the road, although it occupies a considerable amount of frontage on the river.
