Meritex, a commercial real estate developer based in Minnesota, opened this underground office park in a former limestone mine in Lenexa, a southwestern suburb of Kansas City, in 1999. It has around three million square feet of mined space, with more than half of that developed. One tenant is Caverns Technologies, which has operated a data and co-location center here since 2007.
