Writer and photographer Richard Menzies was a resident in 2000. While in Wendover he made an exhibition of his work Passing Through, about the characters he has interviewed and documented over the years that have lingered or transited through the emptiness around Wendover. Menzies, along with Robert Goldberger were the editors and publishers of Salt Flat News, a pioneering newspaper about the region that was published for a few years in the 1970s.
