Filmmaker and writer Bill Brown, itinerant but based in Lubbock, Texas, was a resident in Wendover in 2003. While in Wendover, he constructed the Railbike, a tandem bicycle with an outrigger that he used for exploring and documenting the abandoned railroads of the area. The Railbike remained at CLUI Wendover as a resource for current and future residents.
