Crystal Springs, Nevada

The ET Fresh Jerky stand at the otherwise empty crossroads at Crystal Springs continues the legacy of Alien Jerky, which started here before moving to Baker, California. Before that this was the location of the “CIA Bar”, a watering hole that operated in the 1980s, allegedly used by intelligence agencies to monitor the after work chatter of workers from nearby Area 51, to make sure its secrets were not getting out. The cinderblock ruins of the bar remain, next to the Jerky trailer, at this otherwise unoccupied and important crossroads in southeastern Nevada.
