"A Tour of the Monuments of the
Great American Void" - the CLUI will lead a tour of the
Great Salt Lake Desert (including a visit to the Spiral Jetty
and Sun Tunnels land art sculptures and an overnight stop in
Wendover), on October 2 - 3, in association with the Robert
Smithson retrospective exhibit on display in Los Angeles at
the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA).
Space is limited. Participants are responsible
for transportation to/from Salt Lake City and accommodations
in Wendover. A block of rooms at a reduced rate is being held
for tour participants at the State Line Nugget Casino: 1800
848-7300.
