Wayne Barrar was a resident in 2001. While in Wendover he photographed the region extensively, and visited many of the mining operations in the area. The work from his time in and around Wendover was shown in an exhibit called Accumulating Histories, at the Sarjeant Gallery in New Zealand, in 2002, and at the CLUI Wendover Exhibit Hall 2 in 2004.
