Cathy Ward and Eric Wright, artists and videomakers from the UK and Ohio, respectively, were residents in 2004. During their time in Wendover they documented, researched, and hiked the portion of the Donner-Reed party's trail through the region, as part of their larger study of the ill-fated pioneer's route through the west. The videos "Destiny Manifest" and "Purgatory" were produced from their work in at Wendover.
