Wendover Residence Program - Charles Hood

 

Charles Hood was a resident in 1999. While in Wendover he researched and began writing about the time that the Enola Gay bomber was stationed at the airbase. This work became a major part of his book length poem The Half-Life of Salt, Voices of the Enola Gay: Wendover, Tinian, Hiroshima, which was Published by Fountain Mountain Press, in 2002.
