Catherine Harris was a resident in 2003. While in Wendover she studied and documented the state line. Afterwards she assembled a sculpture called "Balance," made of two pivoting steel armatures, studded with photographs. The upper armature has images of the sky, taken at regular intervals while walking the state line. The lower armature has images of the ground, taken from the same locations. The piece was installed in CLUI Wendover Exhibit Hall 2, with numerous text panels on the wall.
